According to stunning reports from Spanish outlet ‘Defensa Central’, Liverpool are plotting an audacious move for Real Madrid superstar Vinicius Junior, but only if they sell Luis Díaz this summer.

The report claims that Liverpool are prepared to launch an official bid worth a total of €130 million (£112.6 million) to sign the Brazilian winger. If the transfer were to happen, it would shatter Liverpool’s club transfer record and be a massive statement of intent.

This ambitious plan is entirely conditional on the sale of Colombian forward Luis Díaz. Liverpool would reportedly use the funds from Díaz’s departure to finance the blockbuster move for Vinicius.

Despite the massive fee, a deal would be incredibly difficult to complete. Real Madrid considers Vinicius one of their most crucial assets and he is widely regarded as “untouchable” by the club’s hierarchy. While this remains a speculative report, it highlights Liverpool’s high level of ambition in the transfer market as they plan for a potential future without Díaz.
