Italian giants Juventus have held talks with Manchester United over a potential double deal to sign out-of-favour forwards Jadon Sancho and Marcus Rashford.
The club is reportedly “closing in” on an agreement for Jadon Sancho for a fee of just £13 million. This comes after Sancho’s difficult loan spell at Chelsea, and United seem prepared to take a massive financial loss on the player simply to move him on.
According to Sky Sports Italia, during further discussions for Sancho on Wednesday, Juventus also opened initial, exploratory talks over a move to sign Marcus Rashford. Like Sancho, Rashford is not part of coach Ruben Amorim’s plans and is among the group of players forced to train separately from the first team.
Juventus appear to be capitalizing on Manchester United’s squad clear-out. While the Sancho deal seems close to completion, the interest in Rashford provides another potential exit route for one of United’s exiled stars, offering both players a chance for a new start in Serie A.
